Feeling a little “end-of–the-summer, back-to-school" blue? Here’s a few books to make you hoppy! They’re rrrib-i-ting!
Whenever I’m feeling blue I like to read “Green” by Laura Vaccaro Seeger.
What’s green? A frog of course! What else? Limes! Peas! A zebra! What?!? A green zebra! HA, ha! That’s classic. Nothing funnier than green humor.
Now frogs don’t really like to wander very far, it’s mostly hopping from my lily pad to pond, but I do enjoy the travels of the green sheep.
Is he near? Is he far? Is he up? Is he down? Where is he now!? “Where is the Green Sheep?”
School and vegetables are low on my list of favorite things, but eventually you’ll have to learn your alphabet; how do you think I learned to read all of these books?
You might as well hop to it, and give "LMNO Pea’s" a try. I’d rather see a pea be an astronaut, then see a pea on my plate! HA!
Time flies and I gotta hop, but if you're still feeling blue check these books out too! Frog says it's easy being green.
