Go Nuts!

"Eat nuts, live longer" is the title of an article recently published by CNN reporting on aNuts study conducted by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School looking at the health benefits of regularly consuming nuts. The study found that, of the thousands of participants, those who ate nuts seven or more times a week had a 20% lower death rate, and lower rates of cancer, respiratory and heart disease.

While you should always check with your doctor before adopting any changes in what you regularly eat (especially if you have a history of allergies), studies like this show that increasing your consumption of nuts could have long term health benefits...not to mention that they make a great snack or addition to meals!
