Who doesn't remember Olivia Newton-John singing and dancing alongside John Travolta in 1978's Grease? Well now this famous Aussie is raising money for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne with proceeds from her new cookbook, Livwise. According to the Centre's website, the book contains recipes created by Olivia in her own kitchen, along with contributions from friends and chefs at her health retreat.
The recipes in the book aren't complicated and offer wholesome, healthy and delicious alternatives to other not-so-good-for-you cookbooks. If you'd like a preview of some of the recipes in Livwise, check out this article about when Olivia visited the Anderson Cooper show. Take a look at her recipe for "Bush-Spiced Fish with Sweet Potato Mash and Fruit Salsa," "Kale, Apple and Beet Juice," "Pear and Oatmeal Yogurt Muffins," and "Squash and Beet Salad with Mustard Dressing."
