Jason Zweig is one of my favorite writers on finance. As with most of his writings, “The Little Book of Safe Money” is oriented toward the individual investor, but embraces a philosophy that can be applied toward business investments.
This book’s strength is its succinct explanation of how investment schemes can be framed to hide actual risk and returns from investors, while also explaining how an investor’s biases and emotional reactions influence his or her decision. Zwieg is heavily influenced by Ben Graham’s ‘Value Investing’ philosophy, but this particular title also has strong emphasis on behavioral finance
