I hadn't knitted for more years than I'd like to enumerate here, when a friend invited me to a knitting circle a couple of months ago. This is a fun group of ladies so I decided I would at least attempt to knit again. Before going over to my friend's house, I checked what the library had on shelf that day and I came across the perfect book for someone like me, just easing back into things. It's entitled, Speed Knitting: 24 Quick and Easy Projects by Kris Percival. All the basics are covered here in easy to understand nuggets.
The projects are interesting and suitable for someone just starting or re-starting out. I chose the ballet sweater. The pattern was very easy to follow. It has been a relaxing undertaking and I am nearly done. I have to say, the experience has me looking at what I could knit next. If you'd like to investigate what the library has to offer a knitter click here.
