Read more about his life and achivements in Biography in Context, our online resource dedicated soley to biographies about notable people in our history. These days, our country celebrates Dr. King's legacy by honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 20th.

Looking for MLK-themed events on that day? The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Association of Santa Clara Valley is hosting its annual Freedom Train ride. Also, you may want to spend this national day of service giving back to your community at one of these service events happening throughout the Silicon Valley. 

And, don't forget to check out our librarian-recommended reads about Dr. King. As always, all SCCLD locations will be closed in observance of MLK Day.
