The Twelve by Justin Cronin (Ballantine Books, October)
This highly anticipated sequel to The Passage is sure to fly off of the library's shelves! If you need a refresher, or haven't read it yet, check it out.
The Oath: The Obama white House v. The Supreme Court by Jeffrey Toobin (Doubleday, September)
Toobin is a lawyer, legal analyst for CNN, and staff writer at the New Yorker. He has written several non-fiction books about the American legal system, most recently the award-winning The Nine.
Thomas Jefferson: The Art of Power by Jon Meacham (Random House, November)
Meacham follows up his 2008 Pulitzer Prize winning biography of Andrew Jackson with a new book on Thomas Jefferson. Bone up on his work:
Phantom by Jo Nesbø (Knopf, October)
If you've missed Nesbø's previous books, The Snowman and The Leopard, you have plenty of time to catch up, because they're page turners! Fans of Stieg Larsson will love his work.
