Today marks the end of our Summer Reading program for 2012.  And as we look back, we can't help but feel optimistic about what the future will bring.  This year we decided to approach Summer Reading totally different than in years passed.  Instead of traditional paper sign-ups, we opted for online summer sites that made use of badges, sharable online book lists,  and a social component that allowed patrons to share books with each other using our catalog.

We saw an incredible amount of participating and sharing happening and were ecstatic to see our online book community take off.  But the sharing doesn't have to end with the summer!  All the book lists, book reviews, and sharing you've done on our summer sites will still be accessible in our catalog.

We hope to see your enthusiasm for reading carry over into the rest of the year!
