How do I stop receiving promotional emails from Zinio.com?

When you first create your Zinio.com account, you will be asked to review your email preferences. The "Let Zinio Decide" box is defaulted as checked. If you choose this option, you will receive emails about Zinio promotions and updates.

To adjust your email preferences, log into Zinio.com and under "Account Settings" go to "Email Preferences" to update your settings.

What devices are supported for Zinio eMagazines?

The following is a list of supported devices:

  1. Mac & Windows PC
  2. iPhone / iPod touch / iPad
  3. Android
  4. Kindle Fire (follow the instructions to install the App)
  5. BlackBerry Playbook
  6. eBook Readers (Nook, Kindle, Sony) are not compatible. Your device must be able to install the Zinio App.
     

Please note: The viewing and compatibility of a magazine title varies by device. To check if your mobile device is compatible for a certain title, please go to www.zinio.com, login with your credentials and access the “My Library” area that displays your checked out titles. Toggle to “List View” to review device compatibility.

How do I get started with Zinio eMagazines?

As a first time user you must create an account with Zinio.

  • Visit to the Library's Zinio page using your browser, NOT the App.
  • Click the Create Account button
  • Enter your name, email address, and a password; click Create Account
  • Check your email account for an email from RB Digital Portal
  • Click on the link to activate your account
  • Go back to the Zinio page and click the Log in button
  • Type your email address and password to access the collection

 

How do I check out a Magazine title in Zinio?

Follow the steps to check out a magazine.

  • Visit the Library's Zinio page using your browser, NOT the App
  • Log in with your email address and password
  • Click on a magazine to place it in your Zinio account
  • A new window will open asking you to create a Zinio account
  • Type your email address and password to create your Zinio account. If you already have an account, click "sign in here" and sign in to your account.
  • The magazine you selected will be in your Zinio account. Click on the title to start reading; or open the Zinio App on your mobile device to synch and download the magazine.

How do I unsubscribe from an eMagazine in Zinio?

 

To unsubscribe from a magazine and stop receiving notices about new issues you must remove all issues of the magazine from your Zinio account.
  • Login to your Zinio account from a computer.
  • Click My Library
  • From the "View" dropdown menu select the magazine title you wish to unsubscribe from
  • Click the Edit button near the top of the screen
  • Click the Remove button under each issue

Can I print an article from an eMagazine title available through Zinio?

 

Printing is available on Zinio using a computer. Printing is not available from a mobile device. The available print options are determined by the publisher. Some publishers do not allow printing of any pages. 
  • Login to your Zinio account using a computer
  • Click on My Library then select a magazine
  • Go to the page you wish to print
  • Click the Print icon in the bottom left corner
  • Click the print option that is available
  • Options that are gray are not available

Getting the error message "Unable to download. Try again later" on your Zinio eMagazines?

There is currently a problem with the latest version of the Google Chrome browser and it's built in flash capabilities on certain Windows 7 machines. To correct the problem, please upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash 14.1. See instructions here. Alternatively, you may switch to another browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox instead.
